Based in Carbondale, CO, we are a small firm dedicated to producing websites. Generally, we utilize an open source content management system to allow our clients the ability to maintain their site, and to provide us with a pre-existing scaffold to build on. We’ve also produced custom OO PHP web applications and work with Zend Framework for clients who require enterprise-level, maintainable code, or have stringent licensing requirements incompatible with the GPL. Principals Seth Brown and John Ensign have both worked building websites since 1995, meaning we bring a combined 30 years of experience to each project. We also offer simple shared hosting, cloud hosting, and, if required, managed servicing of a dedicated box at Rackspace. We’re experienced with optimizing dedicated servers for high-performance Drupal sites. We’re currently at work building a Drupal-based SaaS application for private residence clubs. And, though we specialize in Drupal applications for the fractional and vacation rental industries, we’re open to any PHP project no matter how big or small for any client.

We’re not an a full-service internet marketing agency, though we were both principals in one, Blue Tent Marketing, before leaving to start Solstice Software. We believe that clients are best and most efficiently served by direct access to experts and, sometimes, this means a one-stop shop is not the way to go. We partner with local firms with whom we have a longstanding relationship to allow our clients to get the best search and email marketing services available. We don’t believe small firms should try to be everything to everybody, but we’re happy to hold your hand and team up to find the right partners for your search marketing (SEO) and email marketing needs.
